C'est La Dude

As The Ubereater, it is not only my job to use written prose to tell the stories that describe my passion for food, but it is also a duty of mine, as a creator, to highlight the skills and talents of those around me.

One of the most creative, free-spirited, outside-the-box thinkers I've ever met also happens to be one of my oldest buddies dating back to our elementary school days. He happens to go by the name Joe Bis. If anybody could recant the stories of my early days as a culinary pig, it would be this so-called Joe Bis.

Conversely, while my high school days saw me tipping Chicken and Rib Crib Delivery men ten cents a visit, and drinking an endless amount of Coke Slurpees, Joe Bis was honing his ability to harness his unabridged creativity and knack for theatrics (as well as quafing slurpees like me).

Recently he entered a contest looking for homegrown versions of the popular "Dude" ad campaign currently being run by Budwesier. While he has not yet heard any word on whether he has won, he has given me his permission to share his work with the masses...there are masses right?

Enjoy...
